In this 50-minute class, you will be led through a series of movements to mobilize joints, elongate the muscles, align the bones and strengthen the nervous system. After sitting or moving your body repetitively during the morning hours, take a break and join us to unglue the adhesions and restrictions and remove stiffness. You should notice a change immediately after each session–and what a great way to begin your weekend!
The pace will often be brisk as this is a 50 minute class adapted to those who are coming during their lunch break and are on the clock; therefore, students are expected to be familiar with basic principles and sequence of exercises and know how to set up the tower for each family of exercises. Students must have a minimum of 6 months of Gyrotonic tower training in either a private or group class setting.
To ensure we start and end on time, we ask that you arrive at the studio no later than 12:05 pm to get settled in, set up the tower and be ready to begin promptly at 12:10.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Maximum of 4 students. Please make a commitment to come all five weeks–we cannot give refunds for missed classes or offer make-up classes. There will be no pro-rated class fees.
Registration deadline is Sunday, October 29th. Classes will be held Fridays, November 3, 10, 17 and December 1 and 8, 2017.
